Universal Call EasyDIAL · operated by Universal-Call.Com, LLC
Effective date: 20 July 2026 · Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Universal-Call.Com, LLC (“Universal Call”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your information when you use the Universal Call EasyDIAL mobile application (the “App”) and our website at https://universal-call.com/ (together, the “Services”). Universal Call EasyDIAL is a prepaid international and domestic calling application that lets you place low-cost VoIP calls, top up your prepaid balance, check calling rates, and review your call history.
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Account & identity data — first and last name, email address, phone number, and postal address (street, city, state/region, postal code, country) provided when you register or update your profile.
- Credentials — your username/login, password, and prepaid calling card number used to access your account.
- Payment information — when you top up (recharge) your balance, payment is processed by our third-party payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We receive confirmation of the transaction, the amount, currency, payment method type, and the last four digits of the card where applicable. We do not collect or store your full card number or security code — these are handled directly by the payment provider.
- Support communications — information you provide when you contact customer support.
1.2 Information generated when you use the Services
- Call detail records (CDR) — the phone numbers you dial, call destination and access number, date and time, call duration, and call cost. This data is required to connect your calls, charge your prepaid balance, and show your call history.
- Balance & transaction history — your prepaid balance, recharge history, and account status.
- Device & technical data — device type, operating system, app version, and a push-notification/VoIP token used to deliver incoming-call and account notifications.
1.3 Device permissions
The App requests the following permissions. Where a permission is optional, the App continues to work if you decline it.
| Permission | Why it is used | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Microphone | To transmit your voice during outgoing and incoming calls. | Required for calls |
| Contacts | To let you start a call from your contacts and display a caller’s name on the call screen. Contact data is used on your device and is not uploaded for marketing. | Optional |
| Notifications / VoIP push | To alert you to incoming calls and important account activity, including when the App is in the background. | Optional |
| Camera / Photos | To let you set or update a profile picture, if you choose to. | Optional |
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in.
- To connect your calls and route them over our SIP/VoIP network.
- To process top-ups, maintain your prepaid balance, and prevent negative balances or fraud.
- To display your call history, rates, and transaction records.
- To send you service and incoming-call notifications.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- To comply with legal, tax, telecommunications, and regulatory obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide calling services you request); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services and prevent fraud); consent (for optional permissions such as contacts, notifications, camera); and legal obligation (to meet telecommunications and financial record-keeping requirements).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

These parties are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us and must protect it consistently with this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Call detail records and transaction records are retained as required to operate the service and to meet legal, tax, and telecommunications record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and secured storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
